The coating thickness gauge is a highly accurate and compact instrument for non-destructive, fast, high-accuracy coating thickness measurement. Paint thickness gauge with measurement ranges 0-1500μm, 0-2000μm, 0-3000μm, and 0-10000μm are available. High-standard paint thickness tester has a case is made of high-quality plastic with a shockproof rubber cover for increased durability.
Buy a paint depth gauge online which has zero point, one point, two point three calibrations. The high-performance appearance is made of large buttons which it easier to use, dynamic measuring probes for measuring curved surfaces. Digital coating thickness gauge can automatically recognizes non-ferrous and ferrous substrates. Works with aluminum, steel, and iron.
Easy to use
1.Large buttons for easy operation.
2.High contrast segment LCD screen.
3.Durable probe.

High accuracy
1.Good repeatability.
2.High measurement accuracy.
3.Soft probe wire, not easy to break.

Application
The thickness measurement of the cladding is the most important process of quality inspection implemented in the metal processing industry. The coating thickness gauge perfectly handles these situations and fully enhances manufacturing efficiency, so it is widely used in metal processing, chemical industry, commercial inspection, electroplating, spraying, aluminum profiles, steel structure, etc. It is also suitable for shipbuilding, aerospace, electric power, pot special inspection, technical supervision and other industries.

FAQs
Q1: Is laser distance meter accurate?
A1: The laser measure is accurate to within 1/8" and measures to 50 feet. It makes this measuring tool more accurate, easier and faster than a tape measure.
Q2: How do I choose a laser distance meter?
A2: Most lasers measurers are easy to fit into the palm of your hand, but some are bigger than others. If you have small hands and want a small unit that is easily controlled, or if you have big hands and need a larger laser for ease of use, check on the exact size of any model you are considering.
Q3: Do laser distance meter work outside?
A3: If you work outside, an optical scope or digital point finder is a must. Without a scope or a point finder, you can see a laser point at a maximum distance of about 30 feet on a bright day. Chances are, if you are measuring outside, 30 feet isn't going to cut it.
Tips: How to maintain a digital coating thickness gauge?
Coating thickness gauges are widely used control tools among applicators and inspectors. With a little care and maintenance, these mechanical and electronic instruments can provide quality service for many years.
1.Don't wait for calibration
Before first use, and occasionally afterward, it is always a good idea to read the owner's manual again to familiarize yourself with the features and capabilities of the instrument. Note the model, serial number, date of purchase inside the owner's manual, and highlight maintenance and calibration tips.
2.Use it but don't overdo it
Now that you have finished the writing work, take measurements on the test panels or shims that came with your measurer. You can also use parts of your office furniture or other metallic painted object to make sure the measurer is working properly and that you are using it properly. Measurers come in different shapes and sizes. Make sure you know the correct way to hold and use your model. Most handheld scanners take one measurement at a time. Lift the probe from the surface at least 5 cm between measurements. Moving the probe across the surface shortens its life.
3.Before putting it away
It is a good idea to check the probe head before putting it away. Fresh paint or other material can be removed and the problem can be directly solved, avoiding an unpleasant surprise the next time you use it. It is usually no problem for the user to leave the batteries and the probe attached for a short period of non-use. Put the meter back in its original bag or packaging. Cover the probe. Store the meter in a dry place, away from magnetic fluxes and extreme temperatures. When you go to find it for a new use, a quick check on a known thickness is. This excludes the need for scheduled and periodic maintenance. Do not forget to place the user manual and spare batteries next to the meter. Whether it is the magnetism or eddy current method of measurement, a coating thickness gage requires only a little regular attention to ensure years of accurate and reliable service.
