80 GHZ ADVANCED RADAR LEVEL TRANSMITTERS

The 80 GHz FM radar wave used in the YES 60 series is the current new generation of level measurement technology. When the measurement range is the same, compared with low-frequency radar, the beam emitted by FM radar is more focused and has a smaller divergent diameter, making it an ideal choice for dusty environments and low-reflectivity media. Smaller measurement dead zone and focused beam angle, suitable for long and narrow containers.
Principle
FMCW radar modulates frequency to continuous wave, using a high-frequency 80GHz level scanning method to transmit electromagnetic waves to the object under test through the antenna, and then reflect them back to the receiving end over a period of time. When the transmitted wave is reflected by the object under test and then received by the antenna, a frequency difference will be generated between the transmitted wave and the received wave. This frequency difference can be used to further calculate the distance from the transmitter to the object under test. From this application, the capacity of the material in the barrel can be measured through conversion.
